Yes tell the cleaners what it is. Some times depending the type of toothpaste IE: whitening toothpaste, it may remove color from the area it came in contact with. If it is a blouse you can clean at home you can put a little bit of detergent were the toothpaste was gently rub it in then wash. Good luck

I would take it to the dry cleaners, remember to point out the stain and tell them what it is. Dry cleaning is always the best for silk.
