I also watched a video, from a few years ago, where Alexander McQueen was interviewed & he said that if he were ever to “leave” his company, that he’d want to burn it down, so that it could not continue on w/o him. He didn’t want his name associated with fashion that he didn’t participate in.

@brianb3000 – So … @brianb3000 – So true. I recorded this last collection of his, showing the current retail prices so people know how much it costs to own a piece of (a true piece of) Alexander McQueen’s collection, which is art, and magnificent.
I personally bought 1 piece (skulls sweater) as I too saw it as being like the Mona Lisa/priceless. McQueen’s sewing, design work, material composition, is amazing to behold.
