if you can afford 20 tommy bahama shirts then you can afford to dry clean them. Actually there is a Dryel at home dry cleaning kit you can use to get rid of perspiration and body smells. Also maybe use a anti-perspirant that also has a deodorant, one is for wetness the other for odor. Also a body powder like shower to shower might help. Please DO NOT attempt to cover up body smells with a spray, you will smell like someone who is trying to cover up an odor with a spray. References :
Purchase a home dry cleaning kit at the store and use it in between trips to the dry cleaner. It will take care of the problem. I don't blame you for asking, as dry cleaning is so expensive! The dry cleaning kit will freshen them up for you. References :
Try Febreeze… make sure it is safe for the fabric of your shirt (it will say it on the bottle). They have one that simply removes the odor without making smell like you've been dipping into the frangi-pangi. References :
Don't use Axe unless you want to smell like a cheap bordello.
I would throw them in the washing machine with the other laundry (warm wash/cold rinse) and hang them dry, then iron them. I do this with my husband's Tommy Bahama shirts and they come out fine. No bad smell. They make several laundry detergents with Febreeze already in the now and softeners. References :
My wife washes my Tommy Bahama silk shirts in a special cold silk program. Than she puts them in the cold program of the dryer about 5 minutes, and hang them out tham to dry.
But when they are dry, they are hard and not comfy.
Dry cleaning is no option, bcause we live in a small village in Portugal.
Is it advisabel that she washes them in a luke warm silk program and put them in the luke warm dryer program?
As dry cleaning is not an option my suggestion is to wash your silk shirts using a very mild soap for cool water. As you are finding the shirts hard, it may be worth spraying some fabric softener onto a face cloth and dipping this into the water. Do not apply the fabric softener directly to the shirt. Hope this helps.

Get a good Antipersperant/Deoderant and wear a t-shirt underneath.
If you use a v-neck tshirt or a sleeveless one people will not see it under your shirt.
