Firstly if it is very very creased, then put it on a hanger, and hang it in your bathroom when you are having a shower. the steam generated by the shower will loosen the creases a fair bit.
Then you use your iron on a medium heat, but make sure you iron on a tea towel, and not directly onto the silk.
Silk is best ironed when it's wet. Wet the shirt, and iron on the silk setting, if you have one, or with something cotton between the silk and your iron if you haven't. Iron the inside of the shirt, rather than the outside. Don't try to get it dry, you just let it hang afterwards. References :

Your iron should have a silk setting on it, mine does. If not, cover the shirt with a pillow case and iron.
