If you wash it with cold water, the shirt will be fine. Just make sure to air dry it. If you put it in the dryer, there's a good chance of shrinkage.

Use Woolite & cold water. It'll be fine. Just use gentle cycle & don't dry it. Allow it to air dry. I've handwashed silk shirts in the past by myself as I just told you with no problems.

you have to take it to the cleaners. you will ruin it if you wash it yourself

It will come out clean b/c i wash almost all my nice shirst with beads and stuff like that in the sink and it comes out ok.
